As a mother, hairstylist/creative, I understand how important it is for children to see themselves reflected in the books, toys and media they interact with every day. Growing up, it wasn't always easy to find colouring books featuring children with afros, braids, locs and other natural hairstyles. Yet representation plays a huge role in helping children build confidence, self-esteem and a positive sense of identity. That is one of the reasons I created my colouring book. Why
