My work with textured hair began long before it became a profession.

I’m Tee, a South London based loctician working with locs, braids and textured hair.

As a Black British Caribbean woman my relationship with afro kinky textured hair has been shaped by lived experience within family, community and everyday life. That foundation continues to guide how I work today from understanding hair behaviour and structure, to knowing how styles need to hold, move and grow over time.

While my practice is rooted in afro hair, I have experience working across a range of hair textures and densities. I focus on clean parts, healthy hair practices and styles.

Alongside client based services, I am developing my practice within creative and session styling, supporting creatives and visual projects where hair is treated as both craft and expression.

At the core of my work is connection working closely with people, helping them feel comfortable and confident and using hair as a form of expression in both everyday and creative spaces.
